

Reverend Law accepted Christ into his heart at a very early age, and joined Pilgrim Star Baptist Church. On November 15, 1963, he received a certificate of ordination as a minister by the authority and order of the Bright Star Missionary Baptist Church in Florien, Louisiana. He committed his life to preaching God’s word and assisting in various ministries. His passion was visiting nursing homes and praying for the sick and the shut-in. He held pastoral positions in the Houston and the Louisiana areas until his health failed.
Reverend Law was a veteran of the United States Army. He served his country from February 8, 1951 to November 7, 1953. His service was terminated by honorable discharge. In 1954, he married Eddie Lee Carter, and moved to Houston, Texas. To this union, six children were born. In 1998 he married Eva D. Hallman. Each preceded him in death.
God called his beloved child home on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Humble Texas. He leaves to cherish his memories six children: Ronald Law of Beaumont, Texas. Arroyeral Louie Law, (Dixie Ann Law), Sharon Denise McGowen, Guenda Lynn Garrison of Humble, Texas. Glenda Lee Law and Evette Law of Spring, Texas. He leaves 17 grandchildren. His grandson, Louie Arroyaler Keyon Law, Jr., preceded him in death. He leaves 13 great-grandchildren. Rev. Law also leaves six nieces and nephews: Robert Garner, Samuel Law, Rosa Law, Sennie Hunt, Shirley Collier, Tina Barrett and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
