Louise Virginia Kubiak

Louise Virginia Kubiak went home to be with the Lord on December 19, 2013. Our family and friends will greatly miss this incredible woman. Little Grammy, Grambo, Lefty was known by many names; but always the same graceful, selfless, laughing, smiling woman who for 97 years gave the world a shining example of Christ’s love. Louise was born in Marlin, Texas August 6th, 1916, one of thirteen children and the last to return home. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Ambrose Catholic Church for 50 years and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. Louise is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Antonette Wisnewski and her husband of 43 years, Marion Kubiak. She is survived by her three children, Daniel E. Kubiak, Patricia M. Croes and Barbara A. Walker, along with seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren and many many friends. The family would like to give special thanks to Eva Podraza, a special friend, for her loving care and visits with Louise for many years. Visitation will be Saturday, December 21th, at Pat H. Foley Funeral Directors from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, the vigil and rosary service will start at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 23rd at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 4213 Mangum Road, Houston 77092. Interment will follow at Forrest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX, 77077.
