Maggie was born January 8, 1923 to Jerry Baty and Roxie Wilson Baty (deceased) in Freeston County, Texas. She lived and went to went to school there. When the family moved from Freeston County to Denver City, Texas, there she continued her ministry. Preceding her in death are her sister Eula; sister-in-law Constance; nephews Charles Jr., Billy and Gerald. She leaves to mourn her passing: a loving brother Charles Baty, Sr.; a niece LaVern Baty-Steptoe and five great nieces and nephews.
