Mahmoud Khorshidpanah

Mahmoud was born in Tehran, Iran on November 22, 1950. He came to Houston, Texas in 1970 to continue his education and graduated from Texas Southern University. After graduating, he decided to plant his roots in Houston.

He loved to travel including trips across the United States, Canada, Mexico and Europe. His favorite place to vacation was Barcelona, Spain.

Known as Archie to friends, he was well known for having a hard shell, but being a big softie inside. He was known for his selflessness, generosity, and humor by his friends and family. While being a workaholic, he always found time to spend and relax with his family.

Mahmoud was preceded in death by his parents, Abbas and Batoul, brother Ahmad, and sister, Shahin. He is survived by his wife of thirty nine years, Soudabeh; sons, Todd and Kevin; brother, Hamid; sister; Shohreh; nephew, Alex; niece Cindy, and many other cousins, nephews, nieces and dear friends.

A visitation and funeral service for Mahmoud will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The service will be held from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The committal will be held from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
