Manuel Elias Marquez

Manuel Elias Marquez of Houston Texas, left this world to be with the Lord and found his peace on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at the age of 75. He was born in Chihuahua Mexico on September 23, 1942 and was one of 12 children. In 1973 he moved to the United States where he met his wife of 42 years, Amelia Chihuahua Marquez and had 3 children together.

Manuel was a devote man of God and the church and was beloved by all who met him. He will forever be remembered for his larger than life personality, sense of humor, and contagious smile. He was selfless and giving to all those in need, never knowing a stranger and truly brought joy to all those who knew him.

God and Family were at the center of Manuel’s life. He was dearly loved by his 5 children, 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He is survived in death by his wife Amelia and his children Elia Marquez, Rolando Marquez, Elisavet Marquez, Sarai Marquez, and Manuel Obed Marquez. He is also survived by his brothers Guillermo Marquez, Rodolfo Marquez, Juan Marquez, Jesus Marquez, Efrain Marquez and Luis Marquez, Rigoberto Marquez.

Visitation Services are to be held at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home & Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077 on Tuesday July 31, 2018 from 5pm to 8pm.

Funeral Services will be held at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral home & Cemetery on Wednesday August 1, 2018 at 1pm with burial to follow.
