LIVE A LIFE THAT MATTERS
Ready or not, someday it will all come to an end. 
There will be no more sunrirses, no minutes, hours or days.
All the things you collected, whether treasured or forgotton, will pass to someone else. 
Your wealth, fame and temporal power will shrivel to irrelevance. 
It will not matter what you owned or what you were owed. 
Your grudges, resentments, frustrations, and jealousies will finally disappear. 
So, too, your hopes, ambitions, plans, and to-do lists will expire. 
The wins and losses that once seemed so important will fade away. 
IT won't matter where you came from, or on what side of the tracks you lived, at the end.
It won't matter whether you were beautiful or brilliant. 
Even your gender  and skin color will be irrelevant. 
So what will matter?
  How will the value of your days be measured?
What will matter is not what you bought, but what you built; not what you got , but what you gave. 
What will matter is not your success, but your significance.
What will matter is not what you learned, but what you taught. 
What will matter is every act of integrirty, compassion, courage or sacrifice that enriched, empowered or encouraged others to emulate your example. 
What will matter is not your competence, but your character. 
What will matter is not how many people you knew, but how many will feel a lasting loss when you're gone. 
What will matter is not your memories, but the memories that live in those who loved you. 
What will matter is how long you will be rememberd, by whom and for what.
Living a life that matters doesn't happen by accident.  It's not a matter of circumstance but of choice.  The only thing that really matters in the end is who you served. Choose to live a life that matters.

My First Christmas in Heaven

I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below
with tiny lights, like Heaven's stars, reflecting on the snow. 
The sight is so spectacular!  Please wipe away that tear, 
for I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear,
but the sounds of music can't compare with the Christmas choir up here.  
I have no words to tell you the joy their voices bring, 
for it is beyond description to hear the angels sing.

I know how much you miss me.  I see the pain inside your heart, 
even though I am so far away, we really aren't apart. 
So be happy for me, loved ones.  You know I hold you dear.
Be glad I'm spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year. 

I send you each a special gift from my heavenly home above.
I send you each a memory of my undying love.  
After all, "LOVE" is the gift even more precious than gold.  
It was always most important in the stories Jesus told. 

Please love and keep each other, as my Father said to do, 
for I can't count the blessing or the love He Has for you. 
So have a Merry Christmas and wipe away that tear!

How wonderful is Mrs. B's legacy to have 11 talented, kind, sweet, loving children reflecting her virtues, passions and love of family.  It was a privelege for me to spend 2 days with all of you in The Woodlands at her 85th Birthday!  What a blessed, gifted family and offspring you all are!  Her spirit lives within all of you so blessed by God.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother.  I still remember the day that my mother and your mother met. It was donughnuts after Mass many, many years ago.  I know that her friendship meant the world to my mother and that she will be greatly missed.

I know first hand how hard it s to have your mother go on to the "great party in Heaven" that is what my mother told me it meant to her to get the invitation we all await. My deepest condolences and earnest prayers go out to all of the family.  I met Peggy in bible study at St. John Vianney back in the mid to late 90s.  She was a wonderful role model...a beautiful, Godly woman with amazing strength. She loved her family dearly and was so proud of all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  God bless and comfort you in the loss of one so dear.

My condolences go out to the family of Ms. Margaret Beggins. May you be comforted by reflecting on the many valuable lessons learned and the beautiful memories enjoyed.

I'll think of you when pointy-toed shoes are what I choose to wear, I'll think of you with scissors in hand about to cut some hair.  I'll miss watching the Hallmark channel and rocking in your glider, I'll miss our nap-times, styling outfits, wheeling you outside(r). You'd appreciate the rhyming here, cheesy as it is; you so enjoyed good silliness, and no matter where you lived?  You'd shock new friends with tales of children, 11 in all, amazingly.  You're responsible for almost everyone I love, and I thank you for the purpose you gave me.  Safe travels my dear friend and momma.

Joe, Laura and all of the Beggins Family:   Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your Mother.  My heartfelt condolences goes out to you and your family during this time in your lives, my prayer is that God will give you and your family the strength that you need to get through each day especially through the holidays. Your faith will come as you continue to stretch your hands to the Father and look towards the hills from which come your help and know that your help comes from him. Weeping may endure for a night but truly joy comes in the morning so please do cast all of your cares upon the Lord for at this time you need to know he truly cares for you. The angels in Heaven are rejoicing to receive yet another saint and she is resting in God's arms, your mother is smiling down on you and your family as you have carried out one of her wishes and you will be blessed for doing such a thing. Peace and God's blessings to you and your family during this time, take it one day at time, know that God's grace and mercy will get you through this time of sorrow.

Mary, thank you for letting me know about your mom, and I am sorry for your loss. I pray God's peace and comfort will reign in your heart.  What an incredible blessing to have 25 grandchildren!

My love flies with an Angel named Margaret M. Beggins. Her 90 yrs. of life and every breath she was blessed with leave such a precious love with so many beautiful beings that her life touched. I take a pause for a few precious moments for a beautiful woman I never personally met. Yet I know in my heart she leaves an incredible legacy of love to all lives she has so generously shared her life with. I thank you Margaret for your precious gift to this world...my love flies freely with you. What a wonderful smile...you live on eternally and I feel your love. Thank you!
