Maria Socorro Fuentes, 81 years of age of Houston, Texas went home to be with the Lord December 2, 2021. Maria was born June 7, 1940 in Mexico. She is preceded in death by her children Martha Fuentes, Gloria Garza and Juan Jose Fuentes.
Maria is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Juan Jose Fuentes and daughter Maria Guadalupe Garza and son in law Eliseo Garza. Grandchildren Arthur Rodriguez, Guadalupe Jimenez, Eliseo Garza Jr., Jesus Rodriguez, Esther Garza and numerous great grandchildren.
Maria enjoyed cooking, baking, dancing and sewing. Most importantly she loved spending time with her family. Maria is deeply loved and will be truly missed by all.
A visitation for Maria will be held Monday, December 13, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo Navigation. A rosary service will occur Monday, December 13, 2021 at 7:00 PM. A visitation will occur Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo followed by a committal service at 12:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
