Maria Teresa Funes De Polio, 68, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014 at West Houston Medical Ceneter in Houston, Texas. She was born on October 27, 1945 in El Salvador to her parents, Alejandro Funes and Maria De La Cruz Torres.
She is survived by her loving husband, Manuel Antonio Polio, daughters, Amparo Del Carmen Polio, Teresa De Jesus Lara, Marta Dolores Polio, Ana Elizabeth Polio , Cecilia Guadalupe Polio, sons, Carlos Antonio Polio, Edgardo Alejandro Polio, Jose Leonel Polio, sister, Maria Del Carmen Funes, Ana Margarita Funes, brothers, Gregorio Funes, Antonio Funes, Mauro Funes and Narciso Funes. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Advantage Funeral Home, 7010 Chetwood Dr. Houston, Texas 77081. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 6921 Chetwood Dr. Houston, Texas 77081. Interment will be held at Panteon Municipal in San Miguel , El Salvador.
