Maria Oliveros, 94, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026. She was born on April 17, 1932, in Villa de la Paz, San Luis Potosí, Mexico. Maria married the love of her life, Jose Oliveros, on September 4, 1950, and together they built a life centered on family, love, and devotion.
Maria was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jose Oliveros. She is survived by her children, Guadalupe Oliveros Garcia (Mario) and Cristina Oliveros (Kenny Taylor). She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Miranda Freyre (Tim), Veronica M. Acosta (Victor), and Angel O. Garcia. Maria was a proud and loving great-grandmother to Anari Jose, Alondra, and Sophia Acosta, and Jimena and Julietta Concepcion Freyre.
She will be remembered for her strength, her love for her family, and the lasting legacy she leaves behind in the hearts of those who knew her.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, TX 77003, US, on April 28, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 10:00 am (next day).
