Maria Argentina Reich

Maria Argentina Reich went to be with the Lord on February 3, 2017. She was born on June 8, 1945 in Lastres, Spain to parents Angel and Argentina del Valle. Maria was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend that will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband of 49 years John Reich; children: John Reich and his wife Sharon, their children Justin and Jason, Robert Reich and Gregory Reich; sister Sofia del Valle; brothers/sister in law Tom, Susan, and Jerry; nephews/nieces: Alejandro, Carlos, Andrew, TJ, David, and their respective families; and multiple friends.

Maria spent many hours daily reading books on her digital reader. She had a passion for playing Parcheesi with her husband and friends. Maria enjoyed traveling with her husband to many countries, and they resided for several years in Venezuela and Mexico. Since retirement of her husband, John, 20 years ago, they have split living between their homes in Kingwood, Texas and Gijon, Spain. Her last wishes were to have her ashes scattered in the ocean next to her birthplace in Lastres, Spain.

The family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home.
