Marie Reynolds, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, at 6:28 p.m. at HCA Houston Healthcare (Tomball Hospital) in Tomball, Texas. She was 80 years old.

Born on August 7, 1945, in Minden, Louisiana, Marie lived a full and loving life surrounded by family and friends who cherished her warmth, laughter, and gentle spirit. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claudia and Roland Reynolds, and her sister, Jerry.

Marie was a devoted mother to her three children — Debbie Mock, Larry Mock (Guillermo Barrantes), and Cindy Mock Tiegs — and a proud grandmother to Alix Tiegs (Libby), Bradley Tiegs, and Natalie Davis. She was also the adoring great-grandmother of little Sawyer Tiegs, who brought her endless joy.

Marie’s greatest happiness came from time spent with her loved ones. Whether celebrating family milestones, dancing, traveling, enjoying the beach, or simply relaxing in the quiet company of her beloved dog, Gizmo, she found beauty in life’s simple moments. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love left an imprint on every heart she touched.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Marie’s life on November 10, 2025, at Brookside Funeral Home – Champions, 3410 Cypress Creek Parkway, Houston, TX 77068. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will take place at 2:00 p.m. at Plantersville Cemetery in Plantersville, Texas.

Marie will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love she shared, the joy she spread, and the legacy of warmth and devotion she leaves behind. In her memory, the family encourages all who knew her to spend time with those they love — just as Marie always did.
