Marilyn was born on June 8, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio to Austin and Gertrude Schraff. She attended Fairview Park High School where she would meet her future husband, Ray Edgerton. They would marry in August of 1960 and they would go on to have 3 children.
Although her children were her greatest passion she also enjoyed collecting teddy bears, gardening and creating beautiful floral arrangements.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband Ray, who passed away February 4, 2012. She is survived by her children; Diane Edgerton, Donna Cagle and husband Leroy, Darrin Edgerton and wife Carrie. She is also survived by her siblings; Austin Schraff, Tim Schraff and Diane Tomlinson as well as grandchildren Brianna Edgerton, Lauren and Marissa Cagle.
Due to the current COVID 19 attendance restrictions the family will be attending a private funeral service for Marilyn at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home followed immediately after by a committal service at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Brookdale Champions Assisted Living for the love and care they have shown to Marilyn during her residency.
