She retired from U.S. West Telephone Co. after 25 years, was a lifetime member of both QWest and CenturyLink Telephone Pioneers of America Volunteer Networks, and an 18 year member of Epiphany of The Lord Catholic Community. She volunteered over 15 years at Opportunity Partners in Minnetonka, Minnesota and 5 years at The Brookwood Community in Brookshire, Texas; where she was committed to serving the advancement of the handicapped.
She is survived by daughters Marsha Fox of Pasadena, Texas; Kathleen Emery and husband Kent of Minneapolis, Minn.; Son Michael of Houston, Sister Barbara Kerlin of Chantilly, Virginia; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held Tuesday March 7.
