Marta Q Palomo (92) of Houston, Texas was born in Harlingen, Texas to parents Antonio and Petra Quintanilla. Marta’s family consisted of two brothers and five sisters, all predeceased. Marta’s passing closes a chapter on individuals who were remarkable and resilient members of the “greatest and silent” generations. Family members present can attest that while all were the “greatest” there was nothing “silent” about this clan. All were extraordinary in their own unique ways.
All who knew Marta can share many memories about her fierce ability to be loving, honest, and a friend to all. She was a mighty ambassador for Christ with her favorite pastime being to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. She loved sharing her testimony of how she was basically transformed to a “bionic woman” by the mercy of God.
Marta is the beloved wife of Esteban M Palomo (deceased) and the loving mother of: sons, Rene (Araceli) and Steve (Debbie), daughter Diana Salazar (Johnny). Loving “Memo” to grandchildren: Philip, Christina, Lindsey, Victoria, Lauren, Amanda, Angela, and great grandchildren: Brooklynn, Liliana, Archer, Rocky, Easton, Scarlett, Carter, Joliana, and Alianna.
