Martha was a hardworking and devoted woman who dedicated much of her life to caring for others. She worked at the Humble Inn Restaurant for 25 years and later spent 15 years as a babysitter, a role that perfectly reflected her nurturing spirit and deep love for children and family.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures like listening to music, playing cards, and most of all, spending time with her family. Wherever Martha was, there was laughter. She was known for her jokes, sarcasm, and her feisty attitude. She could make any gathering feel alive and full of love.

Martha lived her entire life alongside her daughter Rosa, sharing every chapter together—the beautiful and the painful. Together they endured the heartbreaking loss of Norma, Martha’s youngest daughter, at a young age, a sorrow that remained close to her heart. We are sure her daughter is the first person she reunited with as soon as she arrived with our Lord. Despite life’s hardships, Martha’s strength and love never wavered. She went on to help raise a beautiful family, leaving a legacy of love through her six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Martha Alicia Garza will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a woman whose love held her family together. Her laughter, resilience, and unwavering devotion will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. May every memory of her live in our hearts and minds forever until we meet again.

Martha Alicia Garza, nacida el 27 de octubre de 1944 en Monterrey, Nuevo León, México, falleció pacíficamente el 9 de enero de 2026 en su casa en Spring, Texas, rodeada de su amada familia.

Martha fue una mujer trabajadora y dedicada que consagró gran parte de su vida al cuidado de los demás. Trabajó en el restaurante Humble Inn durante 25 años y posteriormente se dedicó a cuidar niños durante 15 años, una labor que reflejaba a la perfección su espíritu protector y su profundo amor por los niños y la familia.

Encontraba alegría en los placeres sencillos de la vida, como escuchar música, jugar a las cartas y, sobre todo, pasar tiempo con su familia. Dondequiera que estuviera Martha, había risas. Era conocida por sus bromas, su sarcasmo y su carácter enérgico. Lograba que cualquier reunión se sintiera animada y llena de amor.

Martha vivió toda su vida junto a su hija Rosa, compartiendo cada etapa juntas, tanto las hermosas como las dolorosas. Juntas sobrellevaron la desgarradora pérdida de Norma, la hija menor de Martha, a una edad temprana, un dolor que siempre llevó en su corazón. Estamos seguros de que su hija fue la primera persona con la que se reencontró al llegar junto a nuestro Señor. A pesar de las dificultades de la vida, la fortaleza y el amor de Martha nunca flaquearon. Ayudó a criar a una hermosa familia, dejando un legado de amor a través de sus seis nietos y trece bisnietos.

Martha Alicia Garza será recordada como una madre, abuela y bisabuela devota, y como una mujer cuyo amor mantuvo unida a su familia. Su risa, su resiliencia y su inquebrantable devoción perdurarán en los corazones de todos los que tuvieron la dicha de conocerla. Que cada recuerdo de ella viva en nuestros corazones y mentes para siempre, hasta que nos volvamos a encontrar.
