Still remember this beautiful person, hard working and dedicated to his family and his church where we et him.

Truly a fine humble person. Appreciate having known  him and working with him at church  bazaars and yard. Thanks for sharing  him with us. God Bless. 

My favorite memories were always crossing the fence to look for my godmother (Anna) and he’d be waiting with an orange. He’d ask, “Quieres una naranja mija?” He’d always ask if I wanted a slice of his orange from his orange tree with a big smile on his face. He was a kind man with a heart of gold. A family man. He was always working on his yard. He was dedicated to his plants and was always a hardworking handy man looking for his next project. It’s not a surprise as to why Doña Chelo’s flowers are still blooming so beautifully till this day. “Thank you” will never be enough for everything and for being more than just a friend, our buelito’. I will miss the way his face would light up and  the way he’d say “Gabyyyy, mija” whenever I’d see him. My heart is with all of his loved ones. 


Dad was so proud and happy to share time with his great grand-child. 

You better hoped you had money when you went shopping with dad because he would always come out with a new toy.

Heaven only knows what dad is picking off that tree.

The Aguilar sisters all went to school with my siblings and me at Blessed Sacrament School.  My brother graduated with Anna in 76, my sister Anne graduated with Carmen in 80 from BSS and again in 84 from IWA.  And I, Manuel  graduated with Julie. In 84 from BSS.  We all grew up knowing them and knowing them well. I really only met Mr. Aguilar once and  his wife, their mom as well.  They are a beautiful family and they have always been dedicated to that parish.  Even though I didn’t know him and his wife well, I know through the actions and interactions of his daughters they were awesome parents.  I see the pictures they shared and see what an awesome husband  and dad he was.  To The Aguilar family from the Sanchez family our sincere condolences, love and prayers to all of you as you go through your grieving process.  Take it one day at a time and know we are here for all of you.  Julie Carmen and Anna,  Michael, Annie and I treasure our life long friendships to you all.  Your mom is also blessed to have y’all as daughters and y’all are blessed to have been raised by amazing parents.  Love y’all.  RIP Mr. Martin Aguilar and thank you for making such beautiful sweet daughters that we are honored to call our sisters in Christ.   

We built a desk together and even fixed floors once. I will hold him in my heart forever. I couldn't have been more blessed to have had him be the abuelo to my children. He took us in as family. He rented a home to my mom who couldn't rent anywhere else and by this it was possible for my baby brothers and sisters to have a home. We learned a ton from him like allowing a complete stranger into your home to stop him from dropping out of high school (my husband José ). Very many memories to cherish.  My thoughts and prayers are are with all his loved ones 🙏 

Daddy was known as Mr. Fix It. He was also known as El Mago (The Magician) because he was famous for misplacing or losing his tools. 

Dad was always finding ways to help our church. 

Dad fished at the lake pier for weeks with few bites until he snagged one. 

Quien paso por nuestra vida y dejo Luz, ha de resplandecer en nuestra alma para toda la eternidad.

Dad loved fishing. He loved fishing even more when he was able to fish with Laurie and Isaac. Thank you Isaac and Laurie for sharing this hobby with ‘buelo.
