Mary was a powerful source of strength and courage. She was a rare breed of altruistic service and unconditional love. Her fellowship was instrumental to helping many of us as we trudge the road of happy destiny.  May God Bless her always - say hi to those of us that cleared the road to the big football game in heaven - love you always Mary!

I am sorry to hear about Mary. I knew her from 1st grade on until she left the state. I have thought of her often.

Mary - it's so hard to believe you are not with us on earth anymore.  Everything I pass Painting With a Twist, I think of the times we spent here together painting!  I will forever cherish those moments!  There are actually LOTS of memories through the years!

To the Driver and Ives family....I know y'all are hurting the loss of Mary.  It is so hard to understand for loved ones!  Hold on tight to those memories and know Mary is in good hands!!

My deepest sympathies to the Ives and Driver families.  Mary and I were high school friends at Eastern High in Lansing.  I remember her leaving at a young age to marry a man & move to Texas.  It seemed a little shocking at the time.  Fast forward 20+ years and thanks to todays technologies, we reconnect....what a blessing and she's still married to the same man!  As we got to know each other again, Mary was a happy, successful and an amazing, wife, and mother to stepchildren.  She loved life!!  After Ken passed away, she seemed somewhat lost, what little perspective I have, considering we were miles apart.  We finally met in Arizona.  She was visiting friends in Phoenix, and I live in the Tucson area.  We each drove to a half way point because she was in one part of the state and I another.  We finally reconnected in person!!!  What a joy!  We were both a bit nervous, so we had a drink, relaxed and talked and talked and talked.  Then we took pictures.  What a good day!  Mary loved life, her husband, her family.....she was a good person.  A very good person and I will miss her.  I wish I had more time with Mary.  I can't say that enough.  I will miss her photos of her beautiful flowers in her yard.  I'm so sorry for your loss.

Aunt Mary, words cannot express how sad I am that you are gone. I feel like I was just really getting a chance to know you, but I already knew what a wonderful, kind person you were. I knew that from the moment we met. I love you, I miss you, and I look forward to the day we meet again. My thoughts and prayers are with your brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren as they mourn your passing.
