Born in 1934, she grew up in Trinidad surrounded by her loving family. A natural world traveler she ventured to the United Kingdom to study nursing and eventually made her way to New York where she met her husband, Edward Hong. She spent the majority of her 90 years living in Houston Texas. In addition, her fondest memories include the time spent traveling and living abroad with Ed. Those close to Mary will remember her passion for meeting new people and experiencing new cultures.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband Edward Hong.
She leaves many loving family members who will cherish her memories.
The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to The American Association for Cancer Research in Mary’s name.
