

Mary Catherine Musolino, 98, formerly from Youngstown and Las Vegas, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 22, at Park Manor Nursing Home in Humble where she made many friends in the four years she was there. She was born on October 7, 1920 to parents Andrew and Katarina Krul.
Mary was a resident of Youngstown for 62 years and worked for the school district for 35 years. When she retired, she moved to Texas for several years and then went in to live in Las Vegas for 11 years. After her husband died in 1996, she moved back to Humble. Mary attended St. Phillips Church and was a devout Catholic.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Patricia Tarr (husband Robert Tarr); five grandchildren, Lana Pruitt (husband Dwayne Pruitt), Laura Taylor (husband Paul Taylor) Rocky Tarr, Candace Musolino Fahey (husband Zack Fahey), and Nicole Musolino; five great-grandchildren, Kelli Pruitt Richardson (husband Jacob Richardson), D.J. Pruitt, Cody Pruitt (wife Kaity Bakke Pruitt), Brittany Taylor Christina Taylor Keller (husband Zachary Keller); three great-great-grandchildren, Kate Richardson, Carter Richardson, and Gibson Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Nicholas J. Musolino, and a son, Nicholas J. Musolino Jr.
A visitation will be held in her honor on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. inside the Chapel of American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038. The Celebration of Life Service will commence at 12:00 p.m. after which she will be escorted to the Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038, where she will be reunited with her husband, Nicholas J. Musolino, and laid to rest.
