Mary Alice Scott, 85, passed away on September 19, 2013. She was born in Sharp, TX to Benjamin Franklin Kraatz & Bernice Pressley (Kraatz). She is preceded in death by her parents; 6 siblings; husband, Walter T. Scott and son, Mark Scott. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Lynn Scott of Houston; 6 brothers & sisters: Lorene Wicker, Lucille McCrummen, Doris Kerbow, all of Commerce, TX, Rose Taylor of Flowermound, TX, Charles Kraatz of Irving, TX & Eugene Kraatz of Apple Valley, CA, also numerous nieces & nephews. Mary was a woman who lived a Christian life. She had a gentle & kind spirit, demonstrated kindness & generosity, valued & cared for all God’s creation. She was also a devoted wife & loving mother who was committed to her family. The family will have a memorial service at 2:30PM on Saturday, October 12th at Brookside Chapel of Chimes .
