Maudell Bernice Eiland went to be with her Lord on February 3, 2017. She was born on July 18, 1922 in Rockdale, Texas to parents Eva and Theodore Whitley. Maudell was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 45 years, Thomas J. Eiland; four siblings, Claudine Stevens, Norris “Pete” Whitley, Margie Eiland, Bonnie Stuermer. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Syer and husband John; two grandchildren, Susan Matthews and husband Larry, John Syer; three great grandchildren, Audrey Syer, Beth Syer, and Collin Matthews and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM; with a funeral service at 3:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039; followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
