Maxine Talley, age 95, of Sheldon, TX passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at home with lots of love and family surrounding her. She was born in Denham Springs, Louisiana, the daughter of Jack and Clara Rayborn.
Maxine moved to the Houston, TX area over 60 years ago. She owned and worked in her beauty salon for over 40 years. Anyone and everyone that knew her loved her and her big smile, but the people that loved her most called her Ninnie. She was always the life of the party with her huge personality and her love of dancing. Everywhere she went, she made friends and never knew a stranger.
Maxine is survived by her grandchildren: Jimmy Teel, Michael Teel, and Stacy Diehls: great grandchildren DeVinn Summers, Kody Teel, Heaven Hensley, Faith Diehls, Derrick Diehls and several great great grandchildren.
A visitation for Maxine will be held Tuesday January 28, 2025, from 10:00am to 11:00am at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Brookside Memorial Park with Pastor Mike Carlen officiating.
