May Jean “Mary” Wong went to be with her Lord on July 5, 2016. She was born on November 3, 1929 to parents Wing Chi Dea and Yuk Mui Kwan in China. Mary was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend that will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved her. She survived by daughter Margot Wong and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Mary is preceded in death by her husband Sin Tsze “Pete” Wong; parents; 3 sisters and 1 brother.
The family will receive friends for visitation Friday, July 15, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Brookside Funeral Home in the Grand Chapel followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park & Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chinese Baptist Church, 900 Brogden Road, Houston, Texas, 77024 in Mary's name.
