Haenelt, Merlynn L. passed on February 5, 2015 at the age of 82. Merlynn was born in Houston, on January 15, 1933. She is survived by her loving husband Joseph W. Haenelt Jr. (Skinny) of 62 years, daughters Nan, Karen, Betsy, Heidi, son Joe III, 17 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. Merlynn worked for many years at Gulf Coast Fasteners, Inc., which they founded in 1968.
In Lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charity of your choice. A celebration of her life service will be held on Monday February 9, 2015 at 10am and the visitation will be held Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 5pm -7pm at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home.
