Michael Joseph Gates, 73, entered into the eternal rest of his Lord & Savior’s loving arms of on June 7, 2013. He is preceded in death by parents: Thurston Gates and Juanice Milling Gates. Michael graduated from University of Houston and retired from Texas Instruments. He was a child of God, who volunteered at KHCB (105.7) broadcasting radio and attended Houston First Baptist Church. His memories will be cherished by those surviving: beloved daughter, Jennifer Gates; cousin, Janell Milling; best friend, Don McCollum; other relatives and friends. Visitation will be from 1:30PM until the graveside service at 2:30PM on Tuesday, June 18th at Brookside.
