Randy Michael Hurbrough Jr. passed away on November 5th, 2017 in Webster, Texas at 20 years of age. Michael was a recent resident of Webster, but was raised in Katy, Texas. He was born on January 23, 1997 in Houston to mother Karen Marie Hurbrough and father Randy Michael Hurbrough Sr.
He was preceded in death by his mother Karen Marie Hurbrough, January 9, 2016, and grandmother Karl JoAnn Jung (MeMe), October 31, 2015.
Michael attended Katy High School and was supposed to graduate with his class of 2015, but due to his ambitious and arduous nature, he graduated half a year early. He was an active member in the National Art Honor Society (NAHS), and enjoyed working with his hands.
Throughout high school and after, Michael was creatively driven. He expressed his talents through molding figures and animals from clay, sketching pictures for family and close friends, meticulously assembling large computers, and playing many different musical instruments. Michael adored jamming with his friends on the weekends, and was exceptionally skilled at playing the drums, guitar, bass, and even singing.
After graduation, Michael was quick to secure not only one job, but two. He worked in warehouses for the United Parcel Service of America (UPS), and also began his career with Jimmy John's gourmet sandwich company. Through his hardworking temperament, Michael ascended to the position of first assistant manager at Jimmy John's and was well on his way to running and leading his own store.
Michael, first and foremost, was a peacemaker and lover of harmony. He cherished his relationships with his friends and family, and relished in doing everything he could to make others laugh. He was a witty jokester with a heart of pure gold, and his warm energy never failed to light up a room. Michael was also incredibly intelligent, and saw the bigger picture in life. He possessed the magnanimous ability to look past others' differences and appreciate all the goodness they had to offer. His humble, genuine, and honest personality made him an ideal friend, and an extraordinarily rare gift to all who knew him. Michael inspired many to be better people every single day by never passing up an opportunity to do the right thing.
He will be remembered as a devoted son, a loving brother, and a faithful companion. Michael leaves behind his father, Michael Hurbrough Sr., and his two older sisters, Rachel Hurbrough and Leah Hurbrough.
