Michael Morrow

Michael Wentford Morrow, 75, of Katy, Texas, passed away on October 23, 2025, at Methodist West Hospital. He was born on March 21, 1950, at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, Texas, to Wentford Houston Morrow Jr. and Mary Della Morrow. Mike grew up in Houston near Kingsley Street and Telephone Road.

A graduate of Austin High School, Class of 1968, Mike dedicated his life to the automotive industry. He worked for White Motor Company and Snap-On Tools and later owned and operated a Mobil service station at Voss and Westheimer from the late 1970s until 1984. In 1985, Mike established Mike’s Westside Auto in Katy, where he continued to serve his community with pride and integrity until his passing.

On June 16, 1972, Mike married Kathy Marie Woerndell Morrow. Together, they raised one son, Michael Jason Morrow. Mike was known for his deep faith in God, generous heart, and lifelong passion for cars—especially Corvettes. He cherished writing stories and spending time with his family, which always brought him the greatest joy.

Mike is survived by his wife, Kathy Morrow; his son, Michael Jason Morrow; his granddaughter, Skylar Morrow; his mother, Mary Morrow; his brother, David Morrow; his brother-in-law, Michael L. Jones; his nephews, Johnny R. Woerndell and Michael A. Jones; and his niece, Sherrie Kniffen. He was preceded in death by his father, Wentford Houston Morrow Jr., in 1994.

A visitation will be held on November 9, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, located at 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077, United States.

The funeral service will follow on the same day at the same venue, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

The committal will take place at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, located at 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077, United States, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm on November 9, 2025.
