Michael Perry Sr.

Perry Sr., affectionately known as “Mike,” a beloved son, brother, and

father. Mike passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 59. Born

on July 22, 1965, Michael’s presence was a source of laughter, joy and

warmth for all who had the privilege of

knowing him.

A man of many talents and an unwavering work ethic, Mike found

fulfillment in the simple pleasures of life. Whether it was casting his

line in the peaceful waters while fishing, firing up the grill for a BBQ,

or cheering on his favorite teams, the Astros and Texans, Mike

embraced each moment with a spirit of joy and dedication. His love

for his family was at the heart of everything he did, and he worked

tirelessly to support them, all the while sharing a kind of love that was

uniquely his own.

Mike was preceded in death by his daughter, Dayna Perry (32),

whose memory he held dear. He is survived by his father,

Paul Perry, his mother, Cloretha Perry, and his loving sisters,

Shannon Michelle Buckholt (Daniel Buckholt) and Mona LaFlore

(John LaFlore). Mike also leaves behind his cherished son,

Michael Perry Jr.”Mikey”, who carries forward his legacy of

strength and love.

In honoring Mike’s memory, we come together to celebrate the

incredible man he was. A gathering of family and friends, where we

will share stories, laughter, and the deep love Mike instilled in all of us.

May his memory continue to bring light and joy to our lives, just as he

did in his own.
