My sweet, dear Uncle Roy will be missed so much.  He was always smiling, kind, loving and pure joy. Just an all around great man.  Uncle Roy was like my second dad and always treated me like I was one of his own. I have such fond memories of him.   I love him and feel such sadness but my memories of him warm my heart.  He was a real sweetheart with a heart of gold.

Dear Auntie Masako, Akio, Kumeko, Tabo and Mits:
I mourn with you the loss of a truly lovely man---beloved husband, father, grandfather , brother, uncle, and friend to many. He was a kind and loving man, with a twinkle in his eye---always ready w/ a smile and a laugh to brighten our lives. 
I have several fond memories of Uncle Roy---most of which revolve around the BBQ Pit, and fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. I can see him w/ a fork or tongs in hand, sweating over a brisket that he had marinated in his own special sauce. Later, over the dinner table, there would be an (unacknowledged) competition to see who could eat the hottest Jalapeno peppers. Sweat would be pouring over the forehead of Uncle Roy and Uncle Willie, while both would declare, ‘it’s not so hot!’ I also remember a summer on a boat moored off of Galveston Island when a fish suddenly bent my pole in half. I watched in amazement as Uncle Roy leapt across the boat and grabbed my fishing pole and ran up and down the boat, under and over the anchor line, for what seemed an eternity to me. He finally succeeded in landing a hammerhead shark that was probably no more than (4) feet long, but seemed a monster to me at the time. He seemed to thoroughly enjoy the epic struggle. Uncle Roy also had amazing eye sight, and was always the first to spot the way back to the pier. 
Although I am not able to be with you, my thoughts are with you and your lovely family during this time of sorrow.

Dear Auntie Masako and family,
I am thinking of you all with love and prayers. Thank you for posting these wonderful pictures of Uncle Roy with you. His love of you, his family  shines through them all. Auntie it has been so long since I have seen you I had forgotten your wonderful smile and how cute you and Uncle were together, a joy to see.
I wish I had known Uncle Roy longer and better, but he became dear to me even in the brief time we shared. It would be so nice to be there at this awful time too but more importantly I am so glad Tim could come out to honor his dear Uncle Roy and show his love and respect for the man who was such an important part of his life and will never be forgotten in our home.

I will always remember Mr. Fujimoto to be a very nice man. He reminded me a lot of my father a very strong and proud man. My heart goes out to the family and yall will be in my prayers.

Mr. Fujimoto was a very sweet and humble man. Very loving with his family and cared very dearly for his grandchildren. I feel lucky to have met such a great man. He was a great father, husband, and grandfather. May God bless the Fujimoto family in this hard time.

Where to begin.... Mr. Fujimoto was a very nice person to me. I remember him back at NorthSide National Little League, its seem like he was always there. I know he loved his kids very much....because he was always a big supporter of them. I rememeber one summer when Mits wanted to be the catcher for the Sam Housotn during the summer and couldnt reach to 2nd base... and Mr.Fujimoto just put his down..... but I do remember about Mr. Fujimoto is was a good man to all the little leaguers at NSN. He will be missed and it was honored to have known him. Robert Blanco.

We never met Roy personally but knew him through his brother Yoshio, and family who always spoke so highly of him. I know he will be missed by all.
May God bless each of you during this time of loss and grief. May you find comfort in knowing he is in a much better place.

Dearest Masako, Akio, Kumeko, Tabo & Mits,  Roy was a very fine man. I have so many memories of your family, including your grandparents and cousins as I was growing up.  It was always fun playing down at your house and I can still remember knocking on the door and your father would greet me as I walked in. I can still hear his voice. As the years would go by, I would still stop by occassionally and visit. I was so grateful that he watched over my dad after my mom passed away.  He and your mom were always wonderful neighbors and my parents dearly loved your entire family. I know that you are grieving now and this time of your life is hard. He will always be the sunshine that shines down on you and lights a path for you. He will constantly watch over you as he sits in Heaven with our Lord. I know that he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with your family during this very difficult time in your life. May God bless you all.

Roy was such a wonderful person, always smiling, I remember his fishing stories.  I will miss him.  My love to the family and I am so sorry for you loss.  May God be with you during this time.
