Mrs. Connie Marie Brigance

On May 27, 1950 twin girls was born to Eddie Lee Hicks Sr. and Willie Faye Hicks in Calvert, TX. One which they named Connie Marie. She moved to Houston at an early age. Connie was baptized at an early age. She graduated from Brooker T Washington High School. She was a member at Hill Zion MBC, later became a member at True Light MBC and finally a Member at New Peaceful Rest. On July 20, 1968 she was united in Holy Matrimony to Tom Brigance Jr., which three children were born to this union, Shawndolyn Brigance-Jackson, Tom Brigance III and Trevors Brigance. In 1980 She became a member of Queen of Sheba Grand Chapter. Where she served some 35 years, in many different Chapters holding several different offices. On October 19, 2015, the Lord sent His angels down to lift Sister Connie Marie Brigance up to the beautiful city of gold, so there will be no more suffering. She is preceded in death by parents, father and mother in laws, both brothers, and four sisters. Connie Marie leaves to cherish her memory a devoted and loving husband Tom Brigance, Jr; daughter Shawndolyn Brigance-Jackson; sons, Tom Brigance III and Trevors Brigance. She also leaves behind two sisters Carelyn Steptoe and Rosie Grimes, four granddaughters; ShaQwendolyn Brigance, Shondrea Brigance, Shiann Brigance and Shi'liyah Brigance, seven grandsons; Tren'ton Brigance, TraZarius Brigance, Tristan Edwards, Tristan Brigance, Trevor Edwards, Tryton Brigance and Treyton Brigance, three great granddaughters; Shi'Maya Brigance-Calliham, Aliyah Dawson and Jaymi Calliham, four brother in laws and three sister in laws and a host of nieces and nephews, others relatives and friends.
