Nanelle Julian Siver, 93, of Cypress, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025. She was born on March 1, 1932, in Dallas, Texas, and lived a long, full life surrounded by the family she so dearly loved.
Nanelle was preceded in death by her husband, Gaylord Barnes and her husband, James Siver. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Dawn Barnes; her son, Curtis Barnes; her grandson, Jon Fuller; and her granddaughter, Chenelle Barnes.
She is survived by her daughters Gayle (Barnes) Van Velkinburgh and her husband Alan, Paula (Barnes) Rowe and her husband Ricky, and Laura (Siver) Burnett, and her son, Shannon Siver and his wife Carol. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren—Jeremy Fuller, Curtis Barnes, Jr., Casey Barnes, Cole Barnes, Chris Barnes, Robert (Bobby) Barnes, Breezie Wayman, Scott Coleman, Lindsey Holmes, Jason Siver, Stephanie Siver, Jenna Bishop, Jon Bishop, David Burnett, and Darrel Burnett—as well as several great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.
Nanelle had a creative spirit and a love for self-expression. She found joy in writing poetry and dancing, but her greatest joy in life was her family.
A private family gathering will be held to honor her life and legacy.
