It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Natividad Morones Delgadillo, who peacefully left us on March 5, 2025, at the age of 96, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family. A cherished mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt, and friend, Natividad’s love, wisdom, and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Born on September 8, 1928, in Houston, TX, Natividad was the matriarch of the Delgadillo family. She was the epitome of resilience and grace, always putting family first and imparting invaluable lessons of kindness, compassion, and hard work to her children and grandchildren and all that knew her.
Natividad’s legacy is carried on by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great grandchildren and many extended family members. She was a pillar of support, offering a comforting embrace and a listening ear to everyone who sought her wisdom.
Throughout her life, Natividad left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She was renowned for her generosity, always going the extra mile to lend a helping hand. Whether it was through a comforting home-cooked meal, sharing remedies, telling stories, or simply making everyone feel welcomed and loved, Natividad’s influence on those around her was immeasurable. Her signature catchphrase, “WHATEVER”, never failed to bring a smile and a laugh to anyone in her presence.
Though she is no longer physically with us, Natividad’s memory will live on in the traditions she helped build, the stories she shared, and the lives she touched. Her love and spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who were blessed to know her. The family invites all those whose lives were touched by her to join in honoring her incredible legacy.
A visitation for Natividad will be held Friday, March 14, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039; with a Rosary starting promptly at 7:30 PM. A funeral service is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 10:00 AM, in Brookside’s Family Chapel; followed by burial in Brookside Memorial Park.
