Nicholas (Nick) Chapa, born April 6, 1944 passed away April 6, 2011 at the age of 67. He is preceded in death by his son, Michael C. Chapa and sister, Janie Sorola. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 48 years, Linda Chapa; daughter, Nicole Marie Chapa; grandchildren, Nicholas Chapa, Alexia Chapa and Lindsey Chapa; great granddaughter, Sadie; sister, Dora Hernandez, Rose Mary Hernandez, Mary Elva Lopez, Bivina Garcia; brothers, Antonio, Jesse, Lupe and Ray Chapa and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Nicholas was a loyal and beloved husband, grandfather, brother and friend. He retired f from Harris County after many years of service with them. Visitation will be from 2:00 – 6:00 pm Saturday, April 9th at Brookside Funeral Home. Visitation will continue from 8:00 am – 9:00pm Sunday April 10th with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm in Brookside Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be 3:00 pm, Monday, April 11, 2011 at Brookside Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
