Nila, graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1966, got married and started a family. She then went on to complete a 33 year career with the United States Postal Service as a Letter Carrier. She retired in 2008.
Nila, is predeceased by: Lawrence Trygstad her father and Adele Barnett her mother, Van Trygstad brother and Marie Ellison sister.
She is survived by her children: Sheree M. DuPratt, Michael S. Kraatz, grandson Shawn Jacob Kraatz, siblings: Marolyn Blair of Houston, Bill Walls of Houston, Diane Jans of League City, Larry Trygstad of Sargent, Shannon Ricles of Newport News, Mark Trygstad of Lake Jackson. Nila, also leaves to cherish her memory thirteen nieces and nephews, twenty-eight great nieces and nephews and one great-great niece.
A Memorial Service will be held in her honor on Friday, September 30 at 2pm at Brookside Funeral Home.
