Nilda Rosa Colon

Nilda Rosa Santiago Santos Colon, age 89, was carried home in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 21, 2024. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was born in Coamo, Puerto Rico to her parents Modesto Santiago and her mother Maria Isabel Santos on November 18, 1935

She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Barth, Son-in-Law Randall Barth, and their children Adelyn Rose Barth and Jacob Scott Barth. She is predeceased by her mother, father, and husband Angelo Colon.

Nilda absolutely loved life, her family, her pets, her friends, and Jesus. She loved to dance, sing, take photos, gardening, word searches, doing puzzles, going to the beach, travel, and going to church. She loved spending time with her family and being there for every life moment in the lives of her daughter and grandchildren. She has lived in Puerto Rico, New York, California, Florida, Massachusetts, Maine, and Texas.

Nilda will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

A visitation for Nilda will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home - Champions, 3410 Cypress Creek Parkway, Houston, Texas 77068.
