

Nolan Frank was the second of eight children born to Armond and Helen Frank. Nolan was born March 5, 1947 in Ville Platte, LA. Nolan grew up in rural Ville Platte and was determined to advance in his lifestyle so he pursued his education from James Stephen High School. In addition to his pursuit for a better lifestyle, he moved to Houston, Texas immediately thereafter. Through God's blessing he obtained employment with Memorial Hospital then later became a professional Truck Driver and a Union Stewart. After approximately forty years of professional driving, he retired while employed with Consolidated Freight Line in 2008.
On November 15,1969 Nolan wedded Miss Dale LaFleur, the love of his life; which he spent the rest of his life with for forty-six blessed years. In their marriage union two beautiful children were born, Dadrienne and Dwayne.
Nolan was baptized at an early age where he attended Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Willie C Frank then later under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Eradley Ben Sr. He loved the Lord and showed his dedication by becoming a brotherhood member. He was the youngest member in the Brotherhood Department. Nolan also served as a Vice Chairman of the Deacon Board for many years.
Nolan's favorite hobbies were driving trucks and fishing.
Nolan leaves to cherish fond memories his loving wife Dale, daughter Dadrienne(Kenneth) and Son Dwayne; two grandchildren Isaiah and Kennedi; Six siblings Lucius; Louis (Lou); A.V.(Diane): Linda (Marvin); Elaudry (Jennifer); Eura (Tony); four sister-in-laws Jessie; Geraldine; Doris and Paula; one brother-in-law Terry and a host of nieces, nephews and relatives.
