Norbert Eli Soriano, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the age of 84. He was born in San Antonio, TX on November 10, 1939. He had a lifelong passion for sports, liked watching TV and loved to share stories.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ignacio Sr. and Odilia Soriano, brother, Ernesto Soriano, and two sisters, Cordelia Silva and Sylvia Tolhurst.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Dolores; daughters, Melissa Negrete (John) and Stephanie Rios (Oscar); 7 grandchildren whom he loved dearly; sisters, Grace Hernandez (Dimas), Rose Cantu (Jay), Nelda Torres (Jesse); brother Ignacio Jr. (Mercy) along with numerous family & friends whom he loved and enjoyed spending time with. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
Visitation for Norbert will be held Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm that same evening at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. Funeral service will occur Monday, November 20, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A committal burial will occur Monday, November 20, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Brookside Funeral Home.
