Norita Louise Seidl, age 88, passed away July 8, 2025. Norita was born June 30, 1937 to parents Roger and Louise Marien. Norita attended Reagan High School, and graduated from the University of Houston with a BS degree in accounting. Norita met her husband Leland on New Year’s Eve 1954, at Bill Mraz dance hall. They were married June 11,1960. Norita and Leland adopted Cindy in September of 1964, and Daryn was born 7 months later in April of 1965.
Norita enjoyed spending time with her family, taking many trips and vacations. She was a cherished wife, mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband Leland, parents Roger and Louise Marien, brother Roger Marien, and great-granddaughter Adiana Quirk. She is survived by her daughter Cindy and husband Al, son Daryn, grandchildren Ryan, Meghan, Justin, Nathan and wife Amanda, Grace and husband Carlo, Rose, and great-grandchildren Hunter, Kyson, Liam, Braelyn, Jesse, and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held July 31,2025 at Cypress Methodist Church, 13403 Cypress North Houston Rd, Cypress TX 77429 at 2:00pm.
