

Oscar James Buster, age 73, of Houston, Texas passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021. Oscar was born on November 15, 1948 in Temple, Texas. He played football at Booker T. Washing High School in Elgin, Texas. He received his certificate of high school equivalency in 1976. Oscar was a senior in the production line 64 and 65 at Anheuser Busch for 33 years. He also worked at Continental Can Company, was a supervisor at Rainbow Bread Company, and a supervisor at Mrs. Bairds. Oscar was a member of the Lilly Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. He was an avid word search player, loved to read the Houston Chonicle, watching ESPN sports, liked the Tv shows Gunsmoke and Rifleman, was a faithful Dallas Cowbows fan, Houston Rockets fan, and an Astros fan. He regularly attended the Baytown Raceway Park, and numerous music concerts. Oscar liked to travel to the Bahamas, Acapulco, Mexico, Rome and Venice, Italy.
Oscar is preceded in death by Freddie Buster Sr., Eddie Lee Buster, Dennis Ray Buster, Freddie Buster Jr., and Larry Buster. He is survived by his wife Veronica Wade-Buster; daughters Phyllis Buster Ellis(Patrick) and Chynel Buster; sons Jason Buster(Tammy) and Dontay Buster; sisters Gloria Buster(Wiley), Florence Rushing(Gene), Dorothy Buster Morgan, and Shirley Buster Williams(Alton); brothers Thomas Buster, James Buster(LaTonya) and Ronnie Buster(Maxie).
