Pamela Lee Leissner

Preceded in death by her dad, Donald Dryden and brother Derek Dryden. She is survived by Jake, her husband of 36 years, son Kyle and wife Stacy Leissner of Magnolia and their two boys, Lane and Kole, whom Pam adored. Their daughter Jennifer and husband Ky Morgan and bonus-granddaughter Kadri of Utah. Her Mother, Sylvia Dryden of The Woodlands and her siblings, Guy Franklin, Kim Bruton, David Dryden, Penny Shaw and Dallas Dryden.

Pamela grew up in Houston and graduated from Spring Branch High School, class of 79’. She received her Bachelors of Science Degree at Texas A&M University in 1983, “Whoop!” and went on to receive a degree in Physical Therapy at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.

Pam had her priorities right in life which we all felt the blessings of. She loved God first and foremost and put everyone else in life before herself, no matter if they were family, friend or stranger. She was a loving and faithful wife to Jake, which we all can imagine was a rodeo in itself! Pam was extremely proud of her children and their spouses. She would light up every time she spoke their names. Pam was also the most dedicated Nana to her grandkids and would do anything for them. She loved to spoil them and would drop anything to go be with them, at any moment. We know Lane and Kole will always cherish those memories as well.

Pamela was the core of her family and would always host gatherings for family and friends at the lakehouse. She knew just how important family time and those memories would be. She had a servant heart and an abundance of care and compassion for others. This was evident by the amount of people she provided care for during some of their hardest times along with doing whatever she could to bring more joy to others. She loved volunteering at Meals on Wheels and JoyRide and considers everyone there family. Everyone who knew Pam felt her embrace and open arms. She treated her childrens’ friends as her own so much that many people refer to her as “Mama Leissner”.

Pam loved to seek connection, travel and adventure, fish and loved to play games. She was an avid Mexican Train Dominoes player, along with any card game. She had a competitive spirit, especially with her siblings. She hated to lose any game and would love to stay up way too late playing. She loved Aggie Football, spending time at Leissner Landing Lakehouse, planning their next big trip and her most favorite, spending time with her Grandbabies.

Pamela, Mrs. Leissner, sweet Pam, Mamacita, Nana you will be dearly missed by so many. We will cherish the memories we have with you forever. You have left a legacy here and we are eternally grateful for the values and characteristics you have instilled and blessed us all with. We love you.
