

Patricia Ann Francis Lombard was born on December 29, 1952, in Independence, Louisiana to Harold A. Francis and Gloria Adams Williams (deceased).
Patricia accepted Christ into her life at an early age at St. Francis Catholic Church in Nola. She was a debutante for the Capetowners Social Club. When she moved to Houston Texas, she joined St. Benedict Catholic Church and St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Later she joined Windsor Village, where she was a part of the 1-accord choir.
After moving to Houston, she married and had one child Lashanda Lombard Rand.
Patricia received her formal education from Dillard University and Texas Southern University where she received her bachelor’s degree, and later attended Prairie View A&M University where she received her Master’s in counseling. While attending Prairie View A&M University, she became a member of Chi Sigma Iota, a counseling honor society. She was also inducted into the Who’s Who by the National Dean’s list.
She received her LPC License and an AACC certification, which allowed her to practice mental therapy.
Patricia loved volunteering: State Representative Al Edwards' Juneteenth, Democrats Voting Office, NAACP, and South Main Mustangs. Patricia was an employee of MHMR, CPS, SBA, IRS.
Her love and passion for God was evident and solid and she was a woman of strong faith.
Patricia’s love, teachings, and memorable acts will be continually cherished by her daughter Lashanda L. Rand (Charles), two nieces, Aisha Jones (Rodarial), Kanika Begelton (Dominic), two grandchildren Jaylon and Kalyn Rand, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends and sisters through Christ, Kathy Griffin, Barbara Brigance, and Terrye Ridley. She is preceded in death by her father Harold Francis, stepfather Webster Williams, mother Gloria D. Williams, and sister Barbara Griffin.
In the completion of God’s purpose for her life, her father called her home to live eternal life on June 8, 2024.
A visitation for Patricia will be held Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Windsor Village Church, 6011 W. Orem Dr., Houston City, TX 77085. The funeral service will immediately follow from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The interment will follow the funeral service from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at Paradise Cemetery South, 2237 Cullen Blvd., Pearland, TX.
