She was always so wonderful. Loved Easter at the house. Fellowship, great food and egg butt games… boat rides on the lake, fishing. She made you feel like you were welcome & loved. That’s just who she was! Much love to the family

I met Mrs. Patricia Tarr when Rocky introduced me to his parents. She was always very classy and an excellent cook! She cooked up some amazing food for us. She always spoiled Rocky. He was a Mama's boy.  She always called to check up on him. She had a great love for her family.  My Deepest Condolences to her husband, Robert Tarr, Her daughters, Lana Pruitt, Laura Taylor and all her other family.  Beautiful video.  

I will forever miss Ms. Pat. I met Pat Tarr through my Grandmother Bonny Schroeder and have such fond memories of the ladies of Atascocita  happy hours. I loved observing the power of friendship. Ms. Pat  was the best host, friend, and always had a smile with a big hug ready. Ms. Pat also taught me a lot of playing  card tips and tutorials at about seven years old when she let me play in the Friday Happy Hour games. To this day, I’m still a card shark because of her. I treasure every moment I had with her. She loved her family, friends unconditionally and was such a strong and wonderful person. She will be forever missed. 

I am so happy to call Gma my grandmother. It will be different going over to the house and not being greeted by her. 
She made Holidays so special at her house. Christmas Eve was definitely my favorite...The feast of the seven fishes is one tradition I hope to continue in my own family. Easter was always a fun time with lots of games. 
My earliest vivid memory of Gma was her telling me and DJ that our youngest sibling had been born and it was a boy. 
Later memories that I loved were annual girl casino trips, Halloween parties, her meeting my babies for the first time, and just being able to stop by her house to chat. 
She never forgot my birthday, I loved getting my birthday card in the mail from her every year. 
I will always remember how kind and funny she was. And I loved hearing her laugh! Love you Gma! I will miss you greatly! 

Pat had a smile that could light up a room.  She and Bob were so kind and welcoming to us.   May all of you remember the wonderful family times you had together.   She loved all of you so much!  She and Bob set such an example of what marriage should be through the years.  Prayers as you go through this sad time!  

You were always kind and loving.  Your love for family is something i will cherish forever.   Thanks for all the love you showed towards my family and me.  Your kindness will be remembered by everyone you ever met.       PAUL

I will forever cherish the memories I have of Gma. From Sunday dinners to family traditions like Christmas Eve dinner and Easter egg cracking contests at her house, Gma was at the heart of it all. She showed what family traditions really are about. She valued family time and was truly a kind, gentle and welcoming soul. I’m so glad I got to go on a Vegas trip and a Lake Charles trip with her recently. And I’m happy that we visited with baby Valli not too long ago. I’ll definitely miss her amazing Italian cooking, but most of all I will miss the conversations and I’ll  miss the warm hug I knew I would get every time I walked through the door when we visited.

Aunt Bubba, you taught me family is important and dinner together is special. You've always been there to support us and it's because of you I love cats. We miss you already❤ RIP

When my dad was a baby, he couldn't say his sister's name, "Patty". What came out was "Bubba", and it stuck. My favorite memories of Aunt Bubba all include being at her and Uncle Bob's house, visiting with them and the family. She always planned a delicious family dinner and made us special turkey meatballs. I'm especially grateful that at one of those get- togethers, she got to hear Ryan sing some of her favorite songs. Aunt Bubba, we will always miss and love you!


I cherish the memories I have of Bubba through the years. She was a wonderful sister-in-law. I remember Nick and I getting to do so many things with her and her family, such as fishing, dancing, bowling, and eating out, all while laughing and teasing one another. She was always loving and kind to everyone, including when Candace and Nicole would visit with her in Houston. We love her, and her memory will live on forever.

I don't ever remember seeing Mrs. Tarr without a smile on her face and a hug to whole heartedly give.  She was a beautiful person inside and out and she loved her family fiercely. This world will definitely be a little less brighter without her in it and she will be missed so very, very much!

It's hard to pick just one memory,  I had many.  We were just talking about it a month ago. When Rocky was 22 and my boys had chicken pox I asked Rocky several times if he had them. He tells me yes he had.  It was spring break week so no school.  Rocky two days after wakes up with little red dots all over him , I went and called Mrs.Tarr to ask her if Rocky ever had them I told her what was going on,  she's tells me Missy Rocky never had chicken pox. As if I didn't feel bad enough I could tell by the sound of her voice she was a little upset. Here's her grown son with chicken pox. She told us to come to the house so Rocky could go see the doctor.  When get to the house and I was scared to see what she would say,  but the minute we walked in she had such a serious look until her and Mr. Tarr saw Rocky they both started laughing because all the dots on Rocky.  I was so relieved.  I always loved that she never showed when she was upset with us. And we did some stupid things back then. She always woke up and came down to check when we came in late. No matter what time. The Sunday dinners,  the holidays I got to share with the Tarrs. I always had an open invite no matter what was going on with Rocky and I.  She was one of the strongest women I know. Always seemed to hold things together.  The strength she had over the last couple of years Amazed me with everything she had going on. I will always hold those memories and the Welcome feeling she always gave me. Patt Mrs. Tarr I will miss my phone calls to you and hearing you laugh about the past,  but I have some comfort in knowing that you are together with Rocky. You will be Truly missed.  I love you Mrs Tarr and will hold your memories in my Heart.

Pat was one of the kindest and funniest women I have ever known. she was so entertaining at parties. Especially when she would dance and do her Elvis impersonation.  Everyone looked forward to it although she didn’t sing his songs. She would move her hips around snd everyone loved it!!  She drew a crowd. You never had to call the Tarrs to show up at their door.   It was always open. She will be sorely missed in our neighborhood. 

Bubba was this beautiful person inside and out. 
Growing up we always would go over her parents house.  My mother wasn’t the greatest driver. So this one day we go over and stay late. Well mom didn’t drive than at night. So we had to get Bubba to drive us all the way home in Liberty. 
She would also babysit me and my sister and take us to the park.  I remember your dad had me on his shoulders and we are running. (Have pic somewhere). 
Love you Bubba we will miss you ❤️❤️❤️

So many precious memories of you through the years. I was blessed to have such a wonderful and loving mother-in-law. 

You welcomed me into your family immediately and I am forever grateful for the relationship we had.  You will truly be missed.  Thanks for the special memories you’ve provided all of us.

For the 40 years we have been friends with Pat and Bob, Pat has always been gracious and kind.  Many weekends  were spent on Lake Houston boating with all the families or celebrating at Atascocita Country Club for various occasions. Her love for her family was always foremost. She was notoriously  known for her Italian dishes and her hospitality! She loved parties and inpromtu gatherings. We will always cherish all our memories. God has a special place for her! Knowing her was our blessing.

Pat was a dear sweet friend and wonderful neighbor. She was a gentle soul and her love of family made us feel like a member too! She was a fabulous cook and was always the perfect host, she made sure you were well fed and watered if you were at her house! I have great memories of fun Friday Nights, jet skiing, boat rides, crawfish boils, girl's casino trip, lots of Happy Hours!  We always looked forward to Christmas Eve drinks and her delicious food after Santa made his rounds! Pat always planned the greatest Halloween costumes! She was always one of the first to respond to your invitations, ready to party and always willing to help! I loved playing Shanghai rummy with Pat and the Ya-Ya's. Pat always passed out copies of laminated rules to keep everyone in line so they didn't cheat! The game certainly won't be the same without her!  We all loved Pat and will miss her dearly!

I remember when I was 25 years old and I met the Atascocita group at the 5 th annual grab ass at Chuck and Jolynns lake house. That was my introduction to the Texas life. I thought all those old people were crazy! As 
time went by John and I were lucky to attend many parties with this group of friend’s 
 Pat Tarr was always the life of the party. She was so gracious and so much fun to be around. No matter who’s house we were at we always had an Elvis sing along and Pat was a hoot! She was the life of the party. I also remember her famous cabbage rolls OMG they were the best dang cabbage rolls ever. Pat Tarr is a legend and will always be remembered! May God Bless her soul and she Rest In Peace! Love you Pat Tarr❤️❤️

Missing you is hard...Loving you was always easy.  I have memories from when you lived in Ohio and going to visit your mom and dad at their house by McGuffy Lanes. The time all the Tarrs and spouses went to Hawaii and all the couple's wore matching tops. Most memories my mom would always tell me about because the cousins were young when y'all moved from Ohio to Texas.  For my family in Texas..you are in my thoughts and prayers.  

  
 

Mrs. Tarr.... what a gem of a lady, wife , mother, grandmother and friend. I wish I could say I saw her more often. I wish I had stopped by when going to visit dad... she is missed

I just remember coming to casino night, Sunday brunches, play the egg butt game at Easter and dominos.. she always made sure you had enough to eat and a smile to great ya. I do remember going on boat rides and as kids fishing the canal... She was a trooper!!!! 

She is now at the feet of Jesus with ROCK. No more pain and I know we all will see her smile again. My prayers are going up for all of you and love you guys xoxoxox

You always had a servants heart and put the needs of others before yours. You taught me to see the good in every situation. You truly are my hero. I loved  our times when it was just me and you. I will never forget how you made me do all those cake walks with you. I remember your favorite  saying was Que Sera Sera. When all of us siblings were getting into it you would say “fight nice” and we would  calm down. You made holidays extra special with traditions and wonderful food. I loved our casino trips and lunches with grandma. . Thank you for showing us family is so important. I already miss talking with you. I am so blessed God made you my mom! I love you dearly. I can’t wait to hug you again. 

A beautiful, sweet welcoming smile. That is what I will always remember of going to the Tarr’s home.  Mrs Tarr always made me feel welcomed and at home.... I loved seeing the comfortable relationship she had with all 3 of the kids, their home was such a happy place to visit.  Rest In Peace sweet mom!

I loved to see Mrs. Tarr when she came to Cedar Landing. We would joke with her son Rocky - Hey your allowance is here. I know her mostly through Rocky talking about his great love for her and how he called her every day. She knew all about our pranks and silliness and would just smile when she saw us.
She was always so stylish and put together. 
She had such love and forgiveness with her family. It was an honor to know her. 


Mrs Tarr was a super special lady.  Always in a good mood and so much fun to be around.  Also, I’m pretty sure she kept Mr Tarr from killing us when we went through our phase of wrapping houses.  I will miss her; and am appreciative of her and all the fun times!!

This lady was one of a kind.  She was gentle but could be a little feisty when she needed to be..  I was priveledged to call her my Sister in law and friend. There are too many memories to recount. And if you knew her well...well you know what I mean.  A devoted wife to Bob, loved her Children to the moon and back and absolutely adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to cook her favorite dishes but would make her famous potato salad if she knew that's what you wanted. When I married Bobs brother Jack ,40 yrs ago,  we went for a visit 3 weeks after our wedding, with my 14 yr. Old daughter Stacey. It was Thanksgiving, Stacey and I were welcomed into the family and Muzzy was the best, sweetest, hostess anyone could have ever been. I loved her from the start.  A few years ago Muzzy wrote all three of her sister in laws a letter. I will cherish mine forever.  The other 2 went to heaven before Muzz, but one day, We will see her again.   See you later Muzz, I love you Rest in peace.

I have so many memories of you Pat and all the good times and also the sad we shared over the last 40 years or more.. the Super Bowl weekend in New Orleans... the Deer Camp.. the Disco Dancing.. Friday night Happy Hour at Atascocita C.C. .... our trip to South Texas and 
Mexico .... 
so many, many memories I will treasure always.  You will always have a place in
my heart..  ❤️❤️

I have so many fond memories of visiting Mrs. Tarr. There was always something good to eat and something to laugh about at the house on the lake. Most of all, I’m forever grateful that she raised amazing children, one of whom (Laura) has been my dear friend for 35 years. Godspeed, Rest In Peace. 

Special Hugs to ALL the Tarr Family.   My greatest memories we’re always coming over and having a great meal that she cooked.   I sure enjoyed going “out” with her and seeing her drink her favorite beverage with NO ice!    I will never forget her smile.   She was always smiling.    Love you Lots Mrs Tarr, I will see you again.   Thank you for always making me feel welcome and loved.    


Our hearts ❤️ and prayers go out to the Tarr family. We have so many wonderful memories boating  and picnicking with the Tarr family.  Pat always had smile on her face and a kind word . She will be missed and her legacy will live on in  the hearts  of all who new her !! 🙏🏼

Memories I think of often are when you’d get home from the grocery store and let me hide the package of cookies from Rocky until I got to eat some before he ate them all! You’d put your feet up on the coffee table and I’d rub cream on your legs & feet. Pasta/Christmas Eve Dinners, Casino trips & most recently our 3 night Vegas trip & sharing a hotel room, gambling late at night & early in the morning. You also gave me your love for making Halloween costumes. You were an AMAZING MOTHER and I love you!
