Patsy was a loving, hard working single mother, a grandmother lovingly called “mimi”, a great grandmother and wife to Charles Kimball McCreary Sr. (“Kim”) Soon after her marriage to Kim, Patsy decided to retire early from M&M MARS so she and Kim could travel and enjoy their life together. She and Kim spent their 20 years of marriage traveling the world, being active in their neighborhood, and attending many Aggie Football games. Patsy especially loved hosting Thanksgiving dinner for the family and cooking her turkey, she fondly named “Henrietta” as well as preparing the favorite dishes requested by the family.
One of the highlights of Patsy and Kim’s travels was their trip to Israel where she brought home holy water from the Jordan River. She brought home several bottles to share with her family.
She had a green thumb and was particularly proud of her garden and beautiful red tomatoes. She enjoyed walking, yoga, reading Danielle Steele novels and spending time in Galveston.
Patsy was active in her church, Chapelwood Methodist, and Sunday school class. She was a longtime patient advocate with Memorial Hermann Hospital Memorial City and earned the award in 2010 of over a 1000 hours of service. They walk beside us everyday
Unseen, unheard, but always near
