

Paul Galvan Cervantes passed into eternal rest on January 31, 2014. He grew up in Houston, TX and attended parochial high school. He served in the US Army during WWII in the Pacific, and was honorably discharged in 1946. Paul returned to Houston and worked for Western Union in several capacities until his retirement and later moved his family to Austin, TX. He was a devout Christian, devoted Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle, and Grandfather. He was extremely patriotic and proud to be a veteran. Paul is preceded in death by his Son, Michael Anthony Cervantes; Parents, Jose and Luisa Cervantes; and Brothers Jose, Luis, Gilbert, Roy, and Tony Cervantes. He is survived by his wife, Maria Ana Cervantes; daughters, Anna Maria Cervantes and Cynthia Villasenor; Sons, Jesse Paul Cervantes, John Paul Cervantes, and Daniel Marcos Cervantes Granddaughter, Alexis Cervantes Grandsons, Jonathan Anthony Cervantes, Paul Thomas Cervantes, and Joaquin Villasenor Sisters Soccoro Cisneros and Lupe Sanchez Brothers Arthur Cervantes, Julian Cervantes and Jesse Cervantes Many Nieces and Nephews, Many Brothers and Sisters in Christ in Austin, TX and Houston, TX
