

He lived a full life, always ready with a joke for anyone with a willing ear. Buddy never met a stranger. He was an avid bowler and had a shelf full of trophies that he was so proud of. He also was a devoted football fan and always rooted for the Texas teams, either college or professional.
Buddy served in the Army during Occupied Japan and in the Marines during the Korean War. Both times serving under General Douglas MacArthur.
He retired in 1992 from MJ Valve/Daniel Industries after 25 years of service as an electrician.
Survivors include wife Dorothy (Dot) Everitt; son James and his wife, Terry; daughter Sharla Enlow and husband Jeffery and son, Boyd Everitt. He welcomed his step-children James, Vickie, Ronny and Steven and was a kind, loving father to them also. Grandchildren are Jeffrey Everitt, Jamie Arroyo, Carissa Everitt, Eric Everitt, and Alexander Enlow. There are several great-grandchildren that Buddy loved and adored.
