Paula Ann Supples, 50, a native of Colorado and long time teacher in Houston, Texas, died Monday, December 5, 2011 in Houston, Texas. Paula received her bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Colorado and her master’s degree in education from the University of Northern Colorado.

She worked as an elementary teacher in the Houston School district for 20 years before retiring due to medical reasons. She was much loved by her students and the faculty.

Paula had a great love for the Denver Broncos and her Irish heritage.

Paula was preceded in death by her mother, Joanne M.. She is survived by her father, Thomas B. and his wife Mary Ann Contri of Wilmington, NC; three brothers, Thomas A. and his wife Mary Ann of Denver, CO, Timothy M. and his wife Theresa A. of Greenville, NC and James K. of San Diego; three nieces and nephews, Timothy J. and his fiancée Candice Ryan of Raleigh, NC, Marie Wright and her husband Matthew of Denver, CO and Erin M. of Greenville, NC; and her great nephew and niece, Matthew Jr. and Delilah Grace of Denver, CO., and her Houston family Robert and Rosa Beck, “Cuz” John and Michael Beck, Cheryl Felner and John Britton and many others.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at the Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Rd., Houston, TX 77077 (281) 497-2330
