Pauline Dorothy Harris

She was born on November 8, 1926 in Stoneham, TX to Sylvester and Viola Yorek.

She enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends. She was a lifelong member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and was part of Altar Society for many years.

She enjoyed baking, playing cards and dominos, especially with her grandchildren. She loved being near the water, spending many days crabbing, fishing, and relaxing at the family creek house in Sargent, TX.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Lee Harris, daughter Susan Shaw, parents Sylvester and Viola Yorek, sisters Teresa Ripkowski, Cecelia Barr, Margaret Podraza, and Sadie Husband; brothers; William Yorek, and Albert (Sonny) Yorek.

She is survived by her daughters, Charlotte Brautigam and Judy Schatte. Grandchildren Angela Lucas, Matthew Brautigam, Mallory Chaney, Amanda Shaw and Justin Shaw. Great-Grandchildren Cameron and Rebecca Lucas; Beau, Brynnley, and Brylee Brautigam; Trenton Carpenter and Clayton Chaney.

Visitation will be held Sunday February 2, 2020 between 2:00 – 5:00 pm with a Rosary beginning at 4:00 pm at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Monday February 3, 2020 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church beginning at 11:00 am.

Burial to follow at Houston National Cemetery; 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr. at 1:00pm.

Please join us for a gathering at Brian and Judy Schatte’s house Monday immediately following the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Faith in Action at St. Rose of Lima Church.
