Pedro Alberto Garcia

Pedro is preceded in death by his beloved sister, Maria Librada Garcia Argueta. He is survived by his devoted parents, Maria Amada & Pedro Garcia Pena, his brother-in-law, Jose Manuel Argueta; and his cherished nephews and niece: Manuel Aquiles Argueta, Fabian Yamil Argueta, Jahir Gabriel Argueta, and Alice Daniela Argueta. He also leaves behind many uncles, aunts, and cousins who loved him dearly.

A man of great warmth and spirit, Pedro deeply valued his family, and was happiest when surrounded by loved ones during gatherings and celebrations. An avid outdoorsman, he found peace and joy in nature, spending much of his time hunting, fishing, and enjoying the great outdoors.

He graduated from Galena Park High School in 1998 and earned his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture degree from Texas A&M University - Kingsville in 2003. He dedicated 20 years of his life to public service, first as a U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agriculture Specialist from 2004 to 2009, and then as a U.S. Customs Border Protection Officer, a role he held with pride and honor until his passing.

Pedro will be remembered for his strong faith, kind heart, and his unwavering love for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Pedro Alberto "Beto" García, entró en el descanso eterno el 4 de septiembre de 2024 en Houston, Texas, a la edad de 44 años. Nació el 8 de abril de 1980 en Galveston, Texas.

A Pedro le precede en la muerte su querida hermana, María Librada García Argueta. Le sobreviven sus amorosos padres, María Amada y Pedro García Peña, su cuñado, José Manuel Argueta; y sus queridos sobrinos y sobrina: Manuel Aquiles Argueta, Fabián Yamil Argueta, Jahir Gabriel Argueta y Alice Daniela Argueta. También deja atrás a muchos tíos, tías y primos que lo querían mucho.

Un hombre de gran nobleza, Pedro valoraba profundamente a su familia y era más feliz cuando estaba rodeado de sus seres queridos en reuniones y celebraciones. Era un apasionado de la naturaleza y disfrutaba su tiempo libre cazando, pescando y apreciando el aire libre.

Se graduó de Galena Park High School en 1998 y obtuvo su Licenciatura en Ciencias en Agricultura de la Universidad de Texas A&M - Kingsville en 2003. Dedicó 20 años de su vida al servicio público, primero como Especialista en Agricultura de la Oficina de Aduanas y Protección Fronteriza de los Estados Unidos de 2004 a 2009, y luego como Oficial de Protección Fronteriza de la Aduana de los Estados Unidos, cargo que ocupó con orgullo y honor hasta su fallecimiento.

Pedro será recordado por su fe, buen corazón, y su gran amor por su familia y amigos. Será profundamente extrañado por todos los que lo conocieron y lo amaron.
