Randyl Clay Rejona, 68, was born on April 7, 1955 in Fort Worth, TX to parents Bernard John Rejona, Jr. and Virginia Friedrichs Rejona. Randy entered eternal rest on February 20, 2024 holding hands with his daughter after succumbing to a complicated illness. Randy is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cindy Rejona; daughter Rachel (Clint) Stevens; step son Brandon Belsher; sister Robin (Ed) Rogers; step siblings Susan (Martin) Buckley, Philip (Anne) Valentine and step brother-in-law Brian McMillen; grandchildren John Belsher, Rhiannon Carr, Emmett Stevens; great-grandson Julien Rodriguez; and a large extended family including many nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins who he adored. He was preceded in death by his father, BJ Rejona, Jr., his mother Virginia Valentine, his stepfather William “Bill” Valentine, and his step sister Angela McMillen.
Randy spent his early years in Dallas until the family moved to Houston in 1962. He loved to work and got a job while in high school as part of a work program where he got an early start learning engineering and drafting. After graduating from Robert E. Lee High School, he studied Industrial Engineering at Texas A&M University. From a young age, Randy had a strong interest in mechanics and working on automobiles.
As an adult, he honed his skills in oil field components, valve actuators, and hydraulics as a mechanic at Waukesha Pearce, where he met the love of his life, Cindy. Most recently, Randy was proud to serve as the general manager for Pantex Ennerflo Systems, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of industrial hydraulic control systems, turbine fluid systems and Oil & Gas drilling and production controls.
As an avid baseball fan, he was especially fond of the Houston Astros and rarely missed a game. Randy enjoyed statistics (baseball and otherwise), took pleasure in learning information, and found joy in cooking and barbecuing. He was always willing to help anyone in need in any way he could. Randy’s life was rich in love and friendship and his memory will be a treasure in the hearts of many.
