Rebekah Guerra was born on March 2nd, 1980 to Cynthia Otero. She spent much of her youth on the north side of Houston where she attended Waltrip High School. Rebekah always talked fondly of her time at Waltrip and the joy being part of their band brought. Letters from friends expressed admiration for her wit, friendship, and humor. All of which she carried on into her adult life. She graduated in 1998.
Years later, Rebekah would graduate with an Associates of Art. She began her career as a dental assistant, eventually moving to Medical Billing and Coding.
Rebekah found lots of joy in motherhood. She had her first daughter, Ivana, in 1996, followed by Bryana in 1998. After 10 years of being “Rebekah and her girls,” she welcomed a son, Nikko, in 2008.
Rebekah enjoyed all things fitness and health. In her free time, she loved spending time with her children. They share many fun memories at the beach, and lots of laughter watching their mom’s favorite shows.
Rebekah is survived by her mother, Cynthia Otero, her brother, Humberto Guerra (Melissa), daughters Bryana Machac (Levi) and Ivana Gonzalez (Sergio), son Nikko Capelo, grandson Oliver Beck Machac, nephew Victor Guerra, and niece Eva Guerra.
The family would like to thank Hanna Dental Implant Center for their incredible kindness and support throughout this journey. They would also like to thank Ana Solorzano, whose friendship meant the world to Rebekah.
